Abstract

Pengaruh Mobilisasi Progresif Level I Terhadap Respirasi Rate (RR) Pasien Kritis di ICU RS Indriati Solo Baru

Respirasi Rate (RR) posttest yaitu nilai rata-rata 17 x/menit,.

The Effect of Level I Progressive Mobilization on Respiration Rate (RR) of Critical Patients at the ICU Indriati Hospital Solo Baru

Abstract

Critical patients who undergo treatment in the ICU have various conditions that require patients to have bed rest. Level I progressive mobilization will affect oxygen saturation which will increase the frequency and depth of breathing, increase alveolar ventilation, decrease the work of breathing and increase diaphragmatic expansion. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of level I progressive mobilization on the Respiration Rate (RR) of critical patients at the ICU Indriati Hospital Solo Baru.
This type of research is quantitative research with pre-experimental research design with one group pre-test-post-test design. The sample used was 23 respondents. This research was conducted on March 15 - May 15 2020 in the ICU Room at Indriati Hospital Solo Baru. The research tool uses a respiration rate measuring device using a Philips Bedside Monitor type model MX450, serial No DE5177527 and an observation sheet. The analysis used non-parametric statistics, namely the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test analysis.
The results of the pretest Respiration Rate (RR) analysis were the average value of 16 x / minute. Posttest Respiration Rate (RR) is an average value of 17 x / minute. Conclusion There is an effect of level I progressive mobilization on the Respiration Rate (RR) of critical patients in the ICU Indriati Solo Baru Hospital with a significant 0.000 <0.05. Suggestions for nurses are expected that nurses can monitor the patient's hemodynamic status because hemodynamic status is an assessment technique in critical patients and can provide level I progressive mobilization so that it affects the frequency and depth of breathing and reduces the work of breathing.
