Abstract

Abstract

Anemia is one of the problems faced by adolescents. Factors retated to the anemia is knowledge. The research purpose was to analyze the effect of FCMC health education through the videos media on adolescent knowledge in Balak Village, Cawas District, Klaten Regency.The research type was used a quantitative research, with a quasy-experimental method used a nonequivalent control group design. The research sample was 74 adolescents, divided into 2, namely the intervention and control groups, each of which was 37 adolescents with a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used univariate and bivariate analysis. The results showed that 1) the level of knowledge of female adolescents in the control and experimental groups after the implementation of FCMC health education using video media increased to a good category. 2) The Mann Withney test on the knowledge variable obtained a p value of 0.000 <0.05 so that there was an effect of FCMC health education with videos on knowledge about prevention of anemia in female adolescents in Balak Village, Cawas District, Klaten Regency. The research can be concluded that there is an effect of FCMC health education with video on knowledge about prevention of anemia in female adolescents in Balak Village, Cawas District, Klaten Regency.
