Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of educational videos about exclusive breastfeeding on the knowledge and attitudes of mothers in exclusive breastfeeding at PMB E. Suyanah, Cilincing, North Jakarta. The research used is
Quasy Experimental research with a quantitative approach. This study used the one group pretest posttest method. The sample of this study were 30 mothers who had children aged 0-6 months. The sampling technique for this study used a non-probability sampling technique. The research instrument used a questionnaire. The techniques/tools used in collecting research data were observation, questionnaires
and literature study. Data processing techniques are carried out in several steps including collecting, editing, reducing, coding, tabulating, and concluding.
The results showed that providing educational videos about exclusive breastfeeding proved to have an effect on mother's knowledge where before being given educational videos on mother's knowledge in the good category, 40% were
in the sufficient category and 60% were given, and after being given educational videos in the good category, it increased to 93.3% and the sufficient category was
6.7%. And the provision of educational videos about exclusive breastfeeding has been proven to have an effect on the attitude of mothers where before being given
educational videos the attitude of mothers with a positive category was 56.7% anda negative category was 43.3% and after being given educational videos the positive category increased to 93.3% and the negative category as much as 6.7%.
