Relationship between Knowledge and Attitudes of Pregnant Women About Anemia with Diet for Prevention of Anemia in Pregnant Women
At the UPTD Nguter Health Center

ABSTRACT

One factor in the high maternal mortality rate is the presence of high-risk pregnancies, namely, pregnancies accompanied by diseases or conditions that can have an adverse impact on the mother or the fetus. These include anemia, hypertension, heart disease and diabetes. This study aims to prove whether there is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women about anemia with eating patterns to prevent anemia in pregnant women.
This research is an analytic observational study with a cross-sectional approach. The variables in this study consisted of 2 independent (independent) variables, namely pregnant women's knowledge about anemia and pregnant women's attitudes about anemia and 1 dependent (dependent) variable, namely diet to prevent anemia. The population of this study were pregnant women in Trimesters I, II and III who did not have chronic pain and complications, visiting in May 2023 based on April 2023 data at the UPTD Puskesmas Nguter Sukoharjo with a total of 143 people.
The knowledge of pregnant women in the UPTD Working Area of the Nguter Health Center has an average value of 15.75. The attitude of pregnant women in the UPTD Puskesmas Work Area has an average value of 7.11. The diet for preventing anemia for pregnant women at the UPTD of the Nguter Sukoharjo Health Center has an average value of 6.95.
There is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women about anemia with eating patterns to prevent anemia in pregnant women at the UPTD of the Nguter Sukoharjo Health Center with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 and the ANOVA statistical test produces a value of Fcount>Ftable (127.905 > 18.513)
