THE EFFECT OF PREGNANCY ANEMIA HEALTH EDUCATION WITH VIDEO MEDIA ON THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE OF PREGNANT WOMEN AT UPTD PUSKESMAS NGUTER, SUKOHARJO

ABSTRACT

Anemia in pregnancy is one of the potential health problems that is harmful to mothers and children which can be caused by consuming Fe from insufficient food. Knowledge of pregnant women about health, especially anemia, will influence the behavior of pregnant women in the implementation of anemia prevention programs. This study aims to determine the effect of pregnancy anemia health education with video media on the level of knowledge in pregnant women
This study used a Quasi Experiment with the One Group Pretest-Postest design. The population of this study were pregnant women who visited the UPTD of the Nguter Sukoharjo Health Center in April - May 2023. The sample in this study was 134 pregnant women.
Characteristics based on the age of the majority of respondents aged 21-30 years there were 49 people (36.57%), there were 66 people with high school education (49.25%) and there were 102 working mothers (76.12%). The majority of pregnant women's knowledge about anemia in pregnancy with video media before health education was carried out was Moderate, namely there were 63 respondents (47%) then after being given health education with video media the majority became Good, namely there were 73 respondents (54.48%).
There is an effect of health education using video media on the level of mother's knowledge about anemia with a result tcount > ttable (9.906> 1,960) and signification p = 0,000.
