Abstract

Pregnancy danger signs are signs that indicate danger that may occur during pregnancy or the antenatal period. Pregnant women really need to know this, especially if it threatens the safety of the mother and fetus in her womb, The minimum things that pregnant women need to know to recognize the danger signs of pregnancy are bleeding, reduced fetal movement, abdominal pain and severe headaches. The aim of this research was to determine the characteristics, knowledge about the danger signs of pregnancy in the third trimester and the activeness of pregnant women in the pregnant women's class.
This research method uses a quantitative type of research, using a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all third trimester pregnant women who had had a pregnancy check-up at PMB Rini Ambarsari Selokaton. The sampling technique was total sampling of 30 respondents. Data collection uses a questionnaire. Data analysis uses univariate analysis. This research instrument uses a questionnaire and an attendance register.
The results of research on knowledge about the danger signs of pregnancy in the third trimester showed that the majority of respondents had good knowledge (43.3%), aged 20-35 years (63%), The majority of education is Bachelor's degree (47%), the majority were primipara (53%), the majority were working. (53%), active participation in classes for pregnant women was (73.3%). The results of the Chi- Square test analysis of the relationship between Knowledge about Danger Signs of Pregnancy in the Third Trimester and the Activeness of Pregnant Women in Pregnancy Classes show that the significance value is p value 0.00 so the a value<0.05. So it can be concluded that statistically there is a relationship between the mother's level of knowledge about the danger signs of pregnancy and her activeness in attending classes for pregnant women.
