Abstract

ABSTRAK: Penyakit Paru Obstruksi Kronik (PPOK) atau Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) adalah suatu penyumbatan menetap pada saluran pernapasan yang disebabkan oleh emfisema dan bronkitis kronis. gejala utama pada penyakit Paru Obstruksi Kronik (PPOK) atau Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) antara lain sesak nafas, batuk dan produksi sputum. Dalam perawatan pasien dengan PPOK salah satu terapi yang diberikan antara lain Fisioterapi dada. Peranan fisioterapi sangat penting dalam mengatasi gejala akibat penyakit PPOK. Tujuan studi kasus ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran asuhan keperawatan pada pasien Penyakit Paru Obstruksi Kronik (PPOK) atau Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan oksigenasi. Jenis studi kasus ini adalah deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode pendekatan studi kasus. Subjek yang digunakan pada studi kasus ini yaitu 1 pasien yang mengalami PPOK (Penyakit Paru Obstruksi Kronik) dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan oksigenasi. Setelah dilakukan tindakan keperawatan Range Of Motion (ROM) didapatkan hasil terjadi peningkatan saturasi oksigen dari 93% menjadi 96%. Rekomendasi tindakan terapi Fisioterapi dada efektif dilakukan pada pasien Penyakit Paru Obstruksi Kronik (PPOK) atau Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan oksigenasi.

ABSTRACT: Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a persistent blockage of the respiratory tract caused by emphysema and chronic bronchitis. The main symptoms of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) include shortness of breath, cough and sputum production. In the treatment of patients with COPD, one of the therapies given is chest physiotherapy. The role of physiotherapy is very important in overcoming the symptoms of COPD. The purpose of this case study is to find out the description of nursing in patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) with the fulfillment of oxygenation needs. This type of case study was descriptive using a case study approach. The subject used in this case study was 1 patient with COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) in fulfilling oxygenation needs. After the Range Of Motion (ROM) nursing action, the results showed an increase in oxygen saturation from 93% to 96%. Recommendations for effective chest physiotherapy therapy for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) by fulfilling oxygenation needs.
