Abstract

Fractures can cause soft tissue edema, bleeding in muscles and joints, tendon ruptures, nerve tissue damage and vascular damage and surgery is a way to restore the function of limb movement and the effects that occur as a result. Action is pain. Acute pain is still found in postoperative non-pathological fracture patients receiving ketorolac analgesics. Fracture of the fremur is the loss of continuity of the femur, the condition of the fremur fracture clinically can be an open femur fracture and a closed femoral fracture. This type of research is descriptive using a case study approach. The subject in this case study was a patient with a femoral fracture with acute pain in the thigh. The results of the study showed that the management of nursing care in postoperative femoral fracture patients in meeting the needs of being safe and comfortable with acute pain nursing problems carried out by ROM (Range Of Motio) therapy nursing actions were carried out for 4 days with 20 minutes and 5 repetitions in each movement and perform deep breathing actions performed 15 times every 5 times do rest. Recommendations for ROM therapy and deep breathing are carried out in postoperative femoral fracture patients with acute pain.
