THE ANALYSIS OF FACTORS RELATED TO STRESS OF THE COVID 19 TEAM NURSES AT RSUD Dr. MOEWARDI

Abstract

Corona virus disease (COVID-19) is a contagious disease caused by the corona virus and is known as severe acute respiratory syndrome corona virus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). COVID-19 has caused a global health crisis with an increasing number of people infected and dying every day. Health professionals have become frontline workers globally in the face of preparing for and managing this pandemic. In carrying out their duties and jobs, nurses are vulnerable to stress. This study aims to determine the relationship between workload, work conflict, and social support with the stress of the COVID-19 team nurse.
This type of research uses quantitative research with correlational studies, namely research that aims to reveal correlative relationships between variables. The research design used in this research is Correlational Analysis with Cross Sectional. The sampling method used total sampling, where respondents were taken from the entire COVID-19 team nurses at Dr. Moewardi, as many as 47 nurses. Data analysis using the Spearman Rank Test with a p-value <0.05% indicates that there is a relationship between workload (p = 0.011), work conflict (p = 0.000), and social support (p = 0.017) with the stress of the COVID-19 team nurse.
The results showed that there was a relationship between workload, work conflict, and social support with the work stress of the COVID-19 team nurses. Based on the results of this study it is hoped that nurses and other medical personnel will be able to control the stress that is often felt.
