Abstract
Teenage girls are required to consume Blood Increase Tablets (TTD) because they experience menstruation every month. Youth knowledge can be obtained from health education. The method of providing the information that young people need can be done with several methods, one of which is by providing the Family Centered Maternity Care (FCMC) education method. The research aims to analyze the influence of video media through family centered maternity care (FCMC) education on the level of knowledge and compliance of teenage girls in consuming Fe tablets in the village of Bendungan Klaten.
Pre-experimental research with one-group pretest-posttest design. The population of this research is teenage girls 12-18 years old in Bendungan Village, Cawas District, Klaten Regency with a population of 48 respondents. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire. Bivariate analysis using Wilcoxon.
The result of the research is the influence of video media through FCMC education on the level of knowledge of teenage girls in consuming Fe tablets in Bendungan Village, Cawas District, Klaten Regency (p-value 0.000 <0.05). There is an effect of video media through FCMC education on the compliance of teenage girls in consuming Fe tablets in Bendungan Village, Cawas District, Klaten Regency (p-value 0.002 <0.05).
