ABSTRAK
Latar Belakang : Rumah sakit sebagai pusat pelayanan kesehatan berperan penting dalam upaya pencapaian target pembangunan kesehatan. Komunikasi yang efektif dalam lingkungan perawatan kesehatan membutuhkan pengetahuan, keterampilan dan empati. Komunikasi SBAR atau Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation, metode komunikasi ini digunakan saat perawat melakukan timbang terima (handover) ke pasien. Penggunaan komunikasi SBAR dalam handover yang baik dapat memaksimalkan penyampaian informasi tentang keadaan terkini pasien, selain itu informasi yang disampaikan dapat lebih efektif dan efisien pada saat pergantian shift.
Tujuan : Mengetahui gambaran pelaksanaan SBAR sebagai pelaksanaan timbang terima perawat jaga di ruang ICU RSUD Ibu Fatmawati Soekarno Kota Surakarta.
Hasil : Didapatkan hasil terdapat perubahan sebelum dilakukan tindakan pemberian audiuovisual dan setelah diberikan audiovosual tentang SBAR.
Kesimpulan : Bahwa pemberian audiovisual efektif dalam meningkatkan perubahan SBAR.

ABSTRACT

Background: Hospitals as health service centers play an important role in efforts to achieve health development targets. Effective communication in a healthcare environment requires knowledge, skills and empathy. SBAR Communication or Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation, this communication method is used when nurses weigh and receive (handover) to patients. The use of SBAR communication in a good handover can maximize the delivery of information about the current condition of the patient, besides that the information conveyed can be more effective and efficient during shift changes.
Objective: Know the description of the implementation of SBAR as the implementation of the weighing of nurses on duty in the ICU room of RSUD Ibu Fatmawati Soekarno Surakarta City.
Results: It was found that there were changes before the audiuovisual administration action and after being given audiovosual about SBAR.
Conclusion: That audiovisual administration is effective in enhancing SBAR changes.
