THE INFLUENCE OF HEALTH EDUCATION THROUGH THE MEDIA REVIEWS ON THE KNOWLEDGE OF HUSBANDS OF POSTPARTUM MOTHERS ABOUT MASSAGE OXYTOCIN IN KRAGILAN
MOJOLABAN VILLAGE, SUKOHARJO

ABSTRACT

In order for the breastfeeding process to run smoothly, a breastfeeding father is needed, namely the father helps the mother to be able to breastfeed comfortably so that the maximum amount of milk produced (Khasanah, 2021). Efforts that can be made to provide smooth breastfeeding for postpartum mothers are oxytocin massages carried out by health workers and husbands (Nurasiaris, 2018).
This study used a Quasi Experiment with the One Group Pretest-Postest design. The population of this study is the husband of the postpartum mother in Kragilan Village, Mojolaban, Sukoharjo. Data for June 2023 on the number of husbands of postpartum mothers in Kragilan Village, Mojolaban. The sampling method was "Non-probability Sampling" with the "Total Sampling" sampling technique. With a sample of 33 pregnant women.
The knowledge level of the husbands of postpartum mothers in Kragilan Mojolaban Sukoharjo Village before being given health education using flipcharts was sufficient, namely there were 18 respondents or 54.6% of the total respondents, then after being given health education the majority became Good, namely there were 19 respondents or 57.6% of the total respondent.
In conclusion, there is a significant influence on the provision of health education through flipchart media on the husband's knowledge of postpartum mothers about oxytocin massage in Kragilan Mojolaban Sukoharjo Village with a significance value of 0.000.
