Abstract

Menopause merupakan salah satu tahapan kehidupan yang pasti akan dialami oleh semua wanita. Menopause merupakan periode peralihan dari masa subur menuju masa tua. Upaya untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang menopause dapat dilakukan dengan pendidikan kesehatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi video tentang menopause terhadap tingkat pengetahuan pada wanita di Kelompok paguyupan Kader Posyandu Kelurahan Jombor. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif, menggunakan metode eksperimen semu (quasy- experiment) dengan rancangan nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian penelitian dibagi dalam dua kelompok, yaitu Kelompok Ceramah dan eksperimen masing-masing berjumlah 24 ibu. Intrumen penelitian adalah kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menerapkan analisis univariat dan bivariat. Hasil penelitian menunjkkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh edukasi dengan media video terhadap pengetahuan tentang menopause pada peguyuban kader Posyandu Kelurahan Jombor.

Abstract

Menopause is a stage of life that all women will definitely experience. Menopause is a period of transition from fertility to old age. Efforts to increase knowledge about menopause can be done with health education. The research purpose was determined the effect of video education on the menopause knowledge level of women in the Posyandu Cadre Association Group in Jombor Village. The research type is a quantitative study, using a quasy-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The research sample was divided into two groups, namely the Lecture Group and the experimental group, each consisting of 24 mothers. The research instrument is a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques apply univariate and bivariate analysis. The results showed that there is an effect of education with video media on knowledge about menopause in the Posyandu Cadre Association Group in Jombor Village.
