Abstract
THE INFLUENCE OF HEALTH EDUCATION THROUGH POCKET BOOK MEDIA ON INCREASING KNOWLEDGE OF THE HUSBAND OF PUBLIC WOMEN ABOUT OXYTOCIN MASSAGE IN TRIYAGAN VILLAGE MOJOLABAN SUKOHARJO

ABSTRACT
Mothers need family support in carrying out oxytocin massage, especially the family closest to the mother, namely the husband. The benefit of applying oxytocin massage is that it increases the hormone oxytocin which can please the mother, so that breast milk comes out automatically. The effect of oxytocin massage is that breast gland cells secrete breast milk so that the baby gets breast milk according to needs and the baby's weight increases (Eko, 2021).
This research used a Quasi Experiment with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. This research is a quasi-experimental research (quasi experimental design) which is seen as an experiment that is not true. The population of this research is the husbands of postpartum mothers in Triyagan Village, Mojolaban, Sukoharjo, June-July 2023, with a total of 31 people. The research sample was the husband of a postpartum mother in Triyagan Mojolaban Village, Sukoharjo, June-July 2023. The sampling method was "Non Probability Sampling" with the "Total Sampling" sampling technique.
The knowledge of postpartum mothers' husbands about oxytocin massage. In Triyagan Mojolaban Village, Sukoharjo, before being given health education through pocket books, most of the respondents fell into the sufficient category, there were 18 people (58.1%). After being given health education using pocket books, the majority of respondents fell into the good category, 17 people (54.8%).
The results of the difference in the mean value are 0.806 and the significance value is p = 0.000 < 0.05, so there is an influence of health education through pocket book media on increasing the knowledge of postpartum mothers' husbands about oxytocin massage..
