Abstract
Chronic energy deficiency (KEK) is still a problem in Indonesia.
Chronic energy deficiency (KEK) is a condition when a person experiences
malnutrition that lasts for years (chronic), causing health problems. Anemia is a
condition where the red blood cell or hemoglobin concentration does not meet the
body's physiological needs. An indication of anemia is if the hemoglobin concentration
is less than 11.0 g/dl. Pregnant women with chronic energy deficiency (KEK) are
pregnant women at risk of chronic energy deficiency (KEK) which is characterized by
an upper arm circumference (LiLA) of less than 23.5 cm. This study aims to determine
the relationship between chronic energy deficiency (KEK) and the occurrence of
anemia in pregnant women at PMB Rizka Yulizarna Parindu Peace Center, Central
Kalimantan.
